NRB 2017

Navigating Rensselaer & Beyond (NRB) is the official continuation of our Freshman orientation program that includes adventure/team building activities, historical/cultural programs, and community service opportunities all designed to help students get to know one another. One of the goals of NRB is to assist all incoming students in connecting with classmates while participating in interest-based activities. Another is to familiarize our new members of the Rensselaer community with not only the campus but also the city of Troy and surrounding areas. The “beyond” represents the idea that Orientation does not end after classes begin. The Office of the First-Year Experience offers a variety of programs to continually support a seamless transition for our newest members of Rensselaer.
