School of Engineering Presents Conversations with Leaders: Priti and Mukesh Chatter '82

Mukesh Chatter ’82 and his wife, Priti Chatter, have an ambitious goal. They are working to meaningfully improve lives — and not just for a few people. The Chatters want to change the lives of two billion people in the developing world. Thanks to their philanthropy Rensselaer recently recruited two outstanding faculty researchers. Professors Miao Yu and Fudong Han were both appointed Priti and Mukesh Chatter ’82 Career Development Chairs and are working in the areas of energy and clean water. Dean Shekar Garde will welcome both Career Development Chairs to present their research; and then sit down for an intimate discussion with the Chatters who will share stories of their experiences and vision.
